We discover Toruń
A certain Vistula tower had a problem with the river flowing next to it. Vistula, Vistula - it shouted - if you don't stop flowing so close to me, I'll fall! Then fall - Vistula replied.
And that's how this beautiful city was created.
We started our tour at the Leaning Tower, built centuries ago by a godless monk as a punishment for courting a Toruń girl. Today, thanks to the tower, you can easily check if you have nothing on your conscience. All you have to do is stand with your legs straight along the walls and keep your balance. I passed the test, although I don't know if it counts, because I was holding on tightly to the bricks.
We spent most of the day praying in countless Gothic cathedrals. We kissed the door handle of the living gingerbread museum, so there was no choice but to consume these medieval delicacies on the spot, in a delicatessen at the Market Square.
In the meantime, we couldn't help but try some ice cream at the best Toruń confectionery shop, U Lewkowicz, and we had dinner at Chleb i Win, after an exhausting two-hour wait for a table at the restaurant bar, which I survived only thanks to the poured Latezki Lezak.
Toruń is a phenomenal place!
