It's rotting
The retired Savior of the Nation already knows that his end is coming with great strides. Oh, it was not supposed to look like this. After all, he planned that when he leaves politics, he would set up and subordinate this Poland of ours to himself.
Meanwhile, everything began to fall apart.
The five hundred for a child with which he bribed voters has become significantly devalued, and people accustomed to the monthly transfer have long since decided that no government will take it away from them.
Apart from those earning the least, most voters realised that the lowering of the retirement age was just a hoax, because when he announced it, he forgot to add that although we would start to relax in retirement sooner, it would be a starvation pension.
The LGBT baiting and sexualization scares are also apparently no longer working, because no matter how it sounds, it seems that the sovereign doesn't give a damn about these issues.
The retired Savior of the Nation is also aware that he will no longer find any of the major players in world politics who would support his actions now that Uncle Trump – the greatest American shame since the dawn of the United States – has ceased to occupy the White House.
Activists who are eager to plunder and steal Poland are not eager to deprive their children of employment in state-owned companies, because after all, "our children have to work somewhere". The courts cannot be completely subordinated. The European Union does not allow the constitution to be broken. And on top of all that, the Prodigal Son, who has just returned to Poland on a white horse, caused the support columns to start heading in undesirable directions in a week.
All this is small beer, however. The biggest problem of the Retired Savior of the Nation is his coalition, which is shaking in its foundations.
Mr. Zero, the medieval inquisitor who for six years, fortunately ineptly and unsuccessfully, has been trying to subordinate the justice system to himself instead of holding the role of Minister of Justice, swagger and preens, strenuously showing that he is more PiS than the most hardened PiS functionaries. He is aware, however, that without the Retired Savior of the Nation, he will remain zero. The Retired Savior of the Nation can and will get rid of Mr. Zero in due time, but for now he does not want to and does not have the possibility.
The situation is different with the second coalition partner led by Bezkręgowiec. The Retired Savior of the Nation is disgusted by Bezkręgowiec, cannot stand his insubordination, and made the decision to part ways with Bezkręgowiec a long time ago. Bezkręgowiec, on the other hand, is fully aware that his days are numbered and that it will never be possible to sort out feelings with the Retired Savior of the Nation. Since his henchmen are increasingly uncertain, and on top of that decimated by the actions of the Savior, he is stuck in this shit with the awareness that whatever he does, it will be his last action in Polish politics, because there is no doubt that the voters will not give Bezkręgowiec a penny of trust anymore.
The retired Savior of the Nation has already fired all his caps and has nothing up his sleeve. He is also aware that the so-called Russian order, as the Prodigal Son aptly put it, is no longer able to tip any scales. He is also convinced that if he somehow manages to crawl to the next elections, he will have to resort to some trick, cunning, machination to maintain his power. The first of such machinations is happening right before our eyes. Of the two remaining media groups not controlled by the Savior, namely Agora and TVN, he has decided to deal with the second one. He does not have to do anything about the first one, because the only ones interested in it are those who will never vote for him anyway.
The ratings of the Retired Savior of the Nation are still high. Most polls give him around 30% of the vote, which does not guarantee that he will maintain power, but is astonishing. How is it possible that such a significant part of Poles wants to vote for someone who has done so much evil.
I understand that part of his voters who were not successful in life and whose fate was at least slightly changed for the better by the money from the vote. But I simply feel sorry for the rest.
I am also ashamed of myself, because I was once deceived. I considered the Retired Savior of the Nation to be an honest man, although destructive, but with some vision, which was not my vision, but was a vision of a better Poland. Today I no longer think so.
Fortunately, every power wears out, especially in the second term. This also applies to the power of the Retired Savior of the Nation. But his power wears out in a special way. It rots. And this rotting progresses at a very fast pace. I'll give you any money that by spring, it will rot for good. In any case, I'm already freezing the champagne. Just until spring.
