Goodbye EU
A legal mediocrity, pretending to be a judge and loyally carrying out the orders of its principal, announced two days ago that the treaties on the European Union are inconsistent with our constitution. You don't have to be a lawyer to see in this announcement a manipulation sewn with coarse threads.

The foundation of the European Union, as set out in the treaties, is the primacy of EU law over the national law of a Member State, something Poland was aware of when it joined the Union in 2004. If Przyłębska's announcement, which questions this foundation of the functioning of the EU, were to be taken seriously, its natural consequence should be immediate withdrawal from the EU.

Neither the EU treaties nor our Constitution have undergone significant changes since our accession to the Union, apart from the Lisbon Treaty signed by Lech Kaczyński, so what has happened since our accession to the EU that today these treaties have ceased to be in line with our Constitution? Well, one thing has happened, the EU has begun to hinder Kaczyński too much.

Recently, Kaczyński's acolytes have been working overtime to convince Poles that the rumors that the United Right is taking Poland out of the EU are made up, and the media is debating whether or not Kaczyński wants to leave the EU. This debate is pointless, because Kaczyński does not want to leave the EU. He simply has to leave it, because he has come to the conclusion that the EU will not allow him to realize his plans related to the consolidation of his authoritarian rule.

Kaczyński never liked the Union. According to his medieval worldview, the Union is devoid of principles, has abandoned religion, does not respect family, floods us with leftists, sexualizes our children, forces us to accept refugees, and on top of that, tells us to accept people with different orientations. Kaczyński cynically questions our belonging to Western civilization and manipulates people, pretending that there is some third way somewhere between the Union and the Russian East.

The only thing Kaczyński needs from the EU is money. As it turns out, however, not at any cost. When the EU closed the tap on 700 billion złoty for Poland to rebuild after COVID, signals began to flow from the ruling camp that we don't really need this money, that we'll manage perfectly well without it - after all, as the president of the National Bank of Poland says - we sleep on money.

Therefore, if Kaczyński has come to the conclusion that he does not need money from the EU, then in a situation in which the EU has got under his skin so much, preventing him from dismantling the judiciary, getting up from his knees and stealing the country, the actual leaving of the EU may take place soon.
There is only one small problem left. This problem is Kowalski, who in his small town rides to get a beer on a bike path, where there is a sign about EU funding, and although he finances the beer from the 500+ program, he may not understand the decision to leave the EU. However, I think, and I am even convinced, that this small problem can be relatively easily solved by pouring cash, which we have in abundance, into our national Kurwizja to intensify actions aimed at revealing the true face of the EU.

And if Kaczyński actually leads us out of the EU, it will be thanks to you, dear reader of this post.

You are very likely to be one of the 80% of Poles who support our presence in the EU, and probably also one of those who have never voted for Kaczyński. But what good is that? Voting against Kaczyński once every four years is not enough. There are still more votes for Kaczyński and there is no indication that this will change in the near future. It is also not enough to stop Kaczyński from taking us out of the EU. If you think that Donald Tusk, who has returned to Polish politics on a white horse, will be able to do something about it, then you are wrong – he will not. You are also wrong if you think that this issue should be resolved by the opposition – he will not.

Only you can do something about it.

And let me be clear. I am not encouraging you to make the sacrifices that our grandfathers made in the fight against the occupiers, or our fathers in the fight against communism. I am also not encouraging you to join political parties, or even to write fiery posts on Facebook. It is enough that you start coming to peaceful demonstrations. Your presence is enough. You do not have to present banners with slogans or shout chants. Just be there. Tomorrow, 10.10.2021 at Castle Square in Warsaw, at 6:00 p.m. And in other Polish cities.

Paraphrasing the famous poem "When They Came..." by Martin Niemoeller, a German Lutheran pastor, theologian and anti-Nazi activist, a prisoner of Dachau, I would say this.

When they were blowing up Radio Trójka – I didn't protest. I listen to Zetka after all.
When they ordered women to give birth to dead fetuses, I did not protest. I am not a woman.
When they wanted to close TVN – I didn't protest. I watch Netflix.
When they undermined the EU treaties, I did not protest. After all, they did not want to leave the EU.
When they left the EU, no one protested. It was too late.
