365 dinners
I think it is appropriate to add that freshness and the selection of the right provisions are the first condition of good cooking, because nothing good can be produced from bad things. The arrangement in my dinners usually consists of four courses; people who run the kitchen more economically can easily discard one of them, and the dinner will still be a whole. I always tell my wives that a tasty dinner is the basis of domestic happiness and the husband's good humor.

This is what Lucyna Ćwierczakiewiczowa – the unrivaled and most famous cook of 19th-century Poland – wrote in the introduction to "365 dinners for five zlotys".

For some time now I have been collecting photographic documentation of my 365 dinners, which, although inferior to the Master's dinners in terms of taste, price and number of dishes, undoubtedly improve the mood.
